4 tricky job interview questions and their perfect responces

Tell me about yourself:

#The interviewer is looking for how you will benefit their company.

Tip:

1). Keep your answers short and simple.
2). Elaborate on experiences & goals relating to the applied position.
3). Summarize your RESUME/CV & talk about transitions in employment.

Why did you leave your previous job?

#Understanding how and why you decided to move on from the previous company.

Tip:

1). If you have a job, say you're "seeking a greater opportunity".
2). Got fired? Say that you "parted ways" and change the topic to your accomplishments.
3). Laid off? Then it's okay to say it's recession related.

What is your range of salary?

#Making sure if you are selling yourself too high or selling yourself too short.

Tip:

1). ALWAYS SAY NEGOTIABLE.
2). Find out what others are making with the same position in the area at www.salary.com
3). Research, Research, Research!.

What are your goals for the future?

#Allows the interviewer to determine if you are fit for their company.

Tip:

1). Explain that you want to excel and be known for your skills.
2). Mention how you see yourself having more responsibilities within the company.
3). Give examples of positive results that you will make.

Having learnt the right ways to tackle this key regular questions,
i. You need to be bold while answering them but not over-confidence, there's a difference.
ii. Dressing counts a lot, for the guys, black suit, and trouser is recommended, with a nice tie and polished shoe, with your hair and finger nails kept neat, and for the ladies, wear a short properly ironed skirt (reaching the knee), suit will do too, with your hair tightly packed & not dangling, and a simple make up on.
iii. Preferably, put away wrist-bands and possibly your ring if you use one (and you are not married), some corporate companies don't like it, it arouses unnecessary questions.
iv. Knock before you go in, greet them all and take your seat with a cute confident smile on your face.
v. Then most importantly, switch off your phones or keep them away preferably.

All these managed, then you should expect your appointment letter, but of course prayer is needed in everything no matter how confident and superb you are.

FALL OF NAIRA TO THE DOLLAR, DON'T BLAME BUHARI :- Sen. Ben Murray Bruce.

"Many Nigerians are complaining about the constant fall in the value of the Naira and they blame the Government.

But is the government really to blame? In truth, our insatiable appetite for all things foreign is to blame.

I always fly Arik Business Class whenever I am traveling abroad except Arik does not fly on that route.

Not only is an Arik ticket a fraction of the cost of a British Airways ticket, but the money I pay to Arik circulates in Nigeria and helps firm up the Naira’s value.

As I speak to you today, a British Airways Business to London is ₦2,103,666 while Arik Business is ₦551,545 yet our elite still fly BA

But though Arik offers an affordable alternative to British Airways and other foreign airlines, our big men prefer to pay double what Arik charges to BA and other foreign airlines for the same services and yet they complain about the value of the Naira.

I have Nasco cornflakes and I have eaten Kellogs cornflakes. In terms of nutrition and taste they are almost indistinguishable. Yet our elite who will rather eat Kellogs than Nasco cornflakes, wonder why the Naira is falling!

Even something like Quaker Oats can be substituted with corn meal known locally as pap.

Obasanjo Farms of Nigeria and other large scale poultry farms have the capacity to provide chicken for the entire nation. Since that is the case, why are we even buying imported chicken?

In fact what is wrong if every family in Nigeria has a poultry in their backyard to give them eggs and meat?

My steward went to Makoko, which is one of the largest fishing communities in Lagos. He wanted to buy fish and they were selling imported frozen fish!

Yet in the very waters in front of them, there exist fresh fish that is more nutritious than the cheap frozen fish they were selling.

We keep spending over 1 Billion Naira importing rice when our own farmers are capable of meeting our national demand for rice. But for some reason, Nigerians just prefer to buy imported rice.

The imported rice we buy in Nigeria is not as good as our local rice because it has been stored for years in silos and treated with chemicals.

Moreover, every time you buy it, your money is going out of Nigeria to service an economy in Asia. The end result is that their currency gains value while ours loses value.

Have you ever wondered why European Premiership Clubs are so interested in Nigeria? It is because Nigerians spend billions traveling to Europe to watch their games, buy their merchandise and promote their leagues.

Yet, back at home, we would not be caught dead watching our own local league.

If we will not spend money on made in Nigeria goods and services, how can we expect our Naira to hold its value and appreciate?

Obviously we can not cut ourselves off from the world. No nation is an island, but at least we can fly Nigerian airlines, eat locally produced food and patronize our football league.

If we do this, not only will our economy grow and produce jobs for Nigerians, it will also make our goods and services improve in value such that they will be attractive enough to be imported.

I bought Innoson vehicles as official cars for my staff. I have never lived to regret it one day. They are comfortable and durable. But most of all, I know that my purchase helps to keep jobs in Nigeria and improve the value of the Naira.

I urge you to do the same. We have no other country but Nigeria and it is you and I that will make it what it is.

If we buy Naija We Will Grow Naira

My name is Ben Murray-Bruce and I just want to make Commonsense!"

Well said by the wise man, i hope and pray we Nigerians reflect with this and adhere with immediate effect to help our nation.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA. GOD BLESS AFRICA

LASU defeats Indian university in international law contest

The faculty of law, Lagos State University (LASU), excelled in India, outwitting the host of the 8th edition of the Gujarat National Law University International Moot Court Competition on international trade law (GIMC) 2016.

The LASU team comprising Michael Babalola, Taiwo Okuneye, Mabawonku Olanrewaju, who are all graduating students of the university, and Rufus Olaoluwa, head of the department jurisprudence and international law, defeated the host at the second round of the competition. Speaking to TheCable, Babalola said it was a great feeling of success to have defeated a law-focused university, revered by its neighbours. “It was a great feeling of success because neighbouring universities had talked about the expertise of the school, bearing in mind the specialization of the college in law, which is evident in their laurels arcade situated at the schools administrative building,” he said. GIMC is India’s only moot court competition based on international trade law and LASU was the only university from Nigeria and Africa to have graced the contest.

The moot court competition is recognized by various international organizations such as the American Society of International Law (ASIL), the International Law Students Association (ILSA), the Asian Society of International Law (Asian SIL) and the World Trade Institute (WTI). This year’s edition of the moot dealt with issues of “domestic content requirements, interference in the use of trademarks and imposition of other barriers to trade”. The LASU team did not make it to the finals of the competition but conceded the competition in the spirit of sportsmanship. “My team members and I felt denied of our right to the finals. However, in the spirit of sportsmanship, we were happy with the judges’ comments of ‘our excellent advocacy skills,’” Babalola said. “Having had one of the highest marks at the preliminary stage and the good impression and comments, participants from other regions had of us, towards having a positive mindset about what Nigeria, Africa could offer in terms of Legal research and advocacy.” There were 42 participating teams from the US, Australia, Indonesia, India, Sri-lanka, Nepal and other countries across the world.

Nigerian man on the run after stabbing a Ugandan woman in India

Hennur police have launched a manhunt for a Nigerian man, identified only as Osas, for allegedly attacking 30-year-old Ugandan national Shakira Nsonko on February 10, in Bengalulu, India.
Osas, is alleged, attacked her with a knife at an African eatery when she refused to pay for his drink. Hennur police have taken up the case under Section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and Section 324 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt using a dangerous weapon) against Osas, a resident of Kukkenahalli.

In her complaint, Shakira has stated that she was at the mess with a friend, Gifletin, when Osas asked her to buy him drinks. When she refused, he abused and slapped her, she has complained. To escape his continued assault, she locked herself in a room and called a friend, Tony. That did not deter Osas, who waited and slashed her with a knife when she ventured out of the room.

Passports and other documents of the two are being verified by the police. Consul of Rwanda, Mohan Suresh, who visited Shakira Nsonko, told Bangalore Mirror that he wanted to ascertain if she was from Rwanda. He said the two knew each other, and that she was an illegal immigrant from Uganda.

Meanwhile, DCP Satish Kumar informed media that Shakira initially claimed she was involved in an accident in which she got hurt. It was only after doctors at MS Ramaiah Hospital informed the police that the wound could be the result of stabbing that she revealed the stabbing.

Ben Bruce Is Serious... Buys Made-In-Nigeria Car, Delivered by CEO of Innoson Motors

Businessman and Senator from Bayelsa State, Ben Murray-Bruce, is taking his common sense revolution more serious than his critics could catch up with him. I like it when people get practical with their words. He ordered and just took delivery of a brand new Made-in-Nigeria car from Innoson Motors.
He said he'll be using it as his official car as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria but added that he got it with his money and not government money. See more photos...

I just hope more political leaders will see reason to do the same, in order to help save our Naira. Kudos Sir with the #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira campaign. Nigerians, please trend this all over, let the words spread across to all sectors, and let there be a change in the system. God bless Nigeria

#BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira: Healthy boost for Innoson, local manufacturers

Good times are here for Made in Nigeria products as more Nigerians have joined the #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira campaign started by Senator Ben Murray Bruce.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has pledged that the federal lawmakers will amend the procurement act and work with Standard Organisation of Nigeria, SON to uphold high standard of locally made products.

The hashtag has also become a platform for local entrepreneurs and manufacturers to showcase what they are capable of producing.
It has also generated international recognition as The Cable News Network, CNN and The British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, have published articles on it.
